This year CARGOSPED celebrated its 10th corporate anniversary. On this occasion, the company held, on June 21st, an anniversary Gala at the InterContinental Hotel in Warsaw marking ten years of its business activity and symbolically launching a new era in the company’s history, from now on a logistics operator. Among the guests at the event there were Prof. Juliusz Engelhardt, Undersecretary of State, Mr Wojciech Balczun, PKP CARGO S.A. CEO, executive representatives of many transport and logistics businesses, CARGOSPED’ s customers, as well as CARGOSPED’s employees.

The official part of the Gala was opened by Jolanta Mrotek, an actress and singer at the Sabat Theatre in Warsaw, who in the later part of the evening performed many ever green songs of Marylin Monroe, Lisa Minelli, Marlene Dietrich, Frank Sinatra and others. During the official part Prof. Juliusz Engelhardt, Undersecretary of State, and Mr Wojciech Balczun, PKP CARGO S.A. CEO, gave anniversary speeches wishing CARGOSPED fantastic economic results and continuous expansion in the years to come. An interesting accent of the event was the speech of CARGOSPED’s CEO, Bogusław Ney, made in 3D hologram technology for only a second time in Poland. By using this cutting edge technology Mr Bogusław Ney manifested CARGOSPED is ready to use new technologies at company’s everyday business.

Also, during the Gala the results of the competition for CARGOSPED’s best customer in 1Q 2010 have been announced and employees who spend 10 years with the company were recognized and honoured with a diploma.

After the official part many attractions were waiting for the Gala guests such as delicious food with an anniversary cake served at midnight, roulette and Black Jack tables, and a cigar corner. The dance aficionados also could not be disappointed: a big dance floor was waiting for them and music played live by Dixie Company until very early morning.
