On May 27th 2010, Mrs. Alicja Czechowska, CARGOSPED Ltd. Business Manager, took home a diploma for CARGOSPED from the 2009 Freight Forwarder of the Year ceremony. The diploma was handed out by Mr Marek Tarczyński, chairman of the Polish International Freight Forwarders Association Council.

The competition Freight Forwarder of the Year has been organized for the past nine years under the patronage of the Polish International Freight Forwarders Association (PIFFA) and the Gdansk University. The idea of the competition is to recognize the most active freight forwarding companies in the previous year and to promote companies respecting business ethics standards at the same time. The competition is open to freight forwarding companies registered in Poland, being member of the PIFFA and managing business activity over the whole year preceding the awards handing out. The companies compete in two categories: businesses employing up to 50 people and above 50 people. CARGOSPED Ltd. has been awarded in the latter group.
