Podczas piątej Konferencji Naukowo- Technicznej „Otwarty Rynek Kolejowy w Polsce", 16 grudnia w Warszawie, wręczono nagrody V edycji konkursu „Lider Transportu Szynowego 2011".

Z perspektywy mijającego roku można śmiało stwierdzić, że przyjęta przez PKP Cargo S.A. strategia dla poszczególnych podmiotów  z  Grupy  przyniosła  zakładane  efekty,  nie  tylko w zakresie zwiększonych  przychodów  i  zysku,  ale  również w aspekcie zwiększonego udziału w poszczególnych segmentach rynku.

On May 27, during a Gala organized at the Sheraton Hotel in Warsaw, the “MARKET LEADER 2011 EURO LEADER” awards were distributed.
CARGOSPED for a second year in a row has received the award in the “Best company in Poland” category in the field of logistics, freight forwarding by rail, intermodal services, and customs agencies.

CARGOSPED has been once again awarded with the European Medal in the intermodal services category. The Gala of the XXI edition of the European Medal Awards, organized by the Business Centre Club, took place on November 17, at the National Opera House in Warsaw.

On October 27, 2010, CARGOSPED celebrated the opening of its container terminal in Warsaw after complete modernization. The event was held in the presence of Wojciech Balczun, PKP CARGO’s CEO, members of the Management Boards of the companies from the PKP CARGO LOGISTICS GROUP, Pol- Dróg’s CEO – modernization works contractor, together with CARGOSPED’s customers and business partners.

This year CARGOSPED celebrated its 10th corporate anniversary. On this occasion, the company held, on June 21st, an anniversary Gala at the InterContinental Hotel in Warsaw marking ten years of its business activity and symbolically launching a new era in the company’s history, from now on a logistics operator. Among the guests at the event there were Prof. Juliusz Engelhardt, Undersecretary of State, Mr Wojciech Balczun, PKP CARGO S.A. CEO, executive representatives of many transport and logistics businesses, CARGOSPED’ s customers, as well as CARGOSPED’s employees.

On 21st June, during ‘10 YEARS of CARGOSPED’ anniversary gala, official results of the contest for the best CARGOSPED’s customer have been announced. There were 4 winners out of 13 companies qualified to the contest with 2 companies winning the 3rd place ex aexquo. Here are the constest’s results:

• First Place: KREX Sp. z o.o. taking home KIA Picanto,
• Second Place: MAERSK POLSKA Sp. z o.o. winning 10,000 zł,
• Third Place: ENERGO Sp. z o.o. and P.W. “FOKUS” Sławomir Mikołaj Pietruczuk winning 5,000 zł each.

On May 27th 2010, Mrs. Alicja Czechowska, CARGOSPED Ltd. Business Manager, took home a diploma for CARGOSPED from the 2009 Freight Forwarder of the Year ceremony. The diploma was handed out by Mr Marek Tarczyński, chairman of the Polish International Freight Forwarders Association Council.

For the eleventh time, the MARKET LEADER 2010 EURO LEADER awards have been handed out. The ceremony was held at the Sheraton Hotel in Warsaw on May 28th 2010. CARGOSPED Ltd. received the MARKET LEADER 2010 EURO LEADER title in the category “the Best Company in Poland’ at logistics, freight forwarding by rail, intermodal services and customs agencies (watch the film).

During 9th edition of the promotional contest MARKET LEADER 2010 EUROLEADER Gala elections of the Polish Leaders’ Forum Board took place. CARGOSPED Ltd.’s CEO, Mr Boguslaw Ney, has been elected President of the Forum. It is a honourable distinction  and  pride  for  our  company  but  above  all  it  is a challenge to deliver even better business results on the domestic and European markets (watch the film).

On 1 May 2010 the CARGOSPED company took over management of another two container terminals: the terminal in Gliwice and the one in Mława.

On 27-39 April 2010, 16th International Fair for Transport & Logistics “TRANSRUSSIA” took place in Moscow. Traditionally, CARGOSPED Ltd. was represented at the event. This year it showed up together with other companies of the PKP CARGO Group.

The 2010 European Medal Business Awards organized by Business Centre Club, the Office of the Committee for European Integration and the European and Social Committee have been presented during a gala ceremony at the Olympic Centre in Warsaw on the 19 March 2010.

The negotiations on a deal to take over MIR Trade Polska opened March last year and conducted by Bogusław Ney, CARGOSPED CEO, have been successfully brought to an end. The ceremony of signing the agreement was held on 25 February 2010 in Warsaw, before an audience of noble guests and journalists.

CARGOSSPED Ltd. has just concluded an agreement aiming at the implementation of the ERP/MRP II information system Impuls 5 designed by the Engineering Office for Digital Systems Joint Stock Co.

On 18th June 2009 the Rzeczpospolita annual presentation of ranking of companies in the transport, forwarding and logistics industry was held. Among the award winning companies CARGOSPED Ltd. ranked No. 2 in financial year 2008 revenue classification. This award is precious to our company.
